1. Information we collect

When you make a booking we collect: your name, email address and phone number; details about your dog (name, breed, size and any notes you provide); and your requested boarding dates.

We do not collect or store your payment card information. See “Payments” below.

2. Why we use it

We use your information only to provide the service you request: to schedule and manage your dog's stay, contact you about your booking, send confirmations and receipts, and process cancellations or refunds. We do not use it for advertising.

3. Payments (Square)

Online bookings require full payment up front. Payments are handled entirely by Square through a Square-hosted checkout page (Square Payment Links). Your card details are entered on Square's own secure page — our website never sees, touches or stores your card data. Square's handling of your payment information is governed by Square's own privacy policy.

4. Email (Resend)

We send transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, cancellation notices, review requests) through Resend, an email delivery provider. Your name and email address are shared with Resend solely to deliver these messages.

5. Cookies

We use two cookies. A language-preference cookie (rdc_lang) remembers whether you prefer English or Spanish. An admin session cookie is set only for the business owner when signing in to the private admin panel. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. How your information is stored

Your booking information is stored in a secured database and is accessible only to the business owner. We take reasonable measures to protect it, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

7. Managing your booking

Each booking has a 6-character code that lets you view, edit your contact details, or cancel your booking without creating an account. Keep this code private — anyone with it can view and change that booking.

8. Data retention

We keep booking records for as long as needed to run the business and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You may ask us to delete your personal information; we will do so where we are not required to keep it.

9. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above (Square for payment, Resend for email) strictly to operate the service, and where required by law.

10. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
